The definition of nature is continually shifting as we place our influence on the landscape. Parklands serve the dual purpose of public display and protection, creating spaces that promote idealized nature within human influenced land. The line between natural and artificial becomes increasingly blurred as pristine landscapes are a feature of the past. Nature as we perceive it is evolving, along with it the visual language. This collection of images play with the realities behind interior and exterior worlds, obscuring the line between wild and artificial, thus reimagining the traditional presenation of the American landscape.
